Ylmf OS: The Geely of Computer OS’s

While they’re not busy copying cars, they’re also copying operating systems. To be fair it’s Ubuntu, so it’s alright to copy that, but I think they’re going a bit overboard with this one. I think Micro$oft would get a little offended. There are dozens of Ubuntu based Linux distributions, but Ylmf (an Ubuntu based Chinese language operating system) is attempting to look very very much like Windows XP; including desktop icons, colors, desktop background, window border, etc. I’m very surprised they didn’t use the Windows Internet Explorer icon for Firefox.

I took the pleasure of installing it in a VirtualBox. The default install is completely in Chinese, so I installed the English language packs for the screenshots. Enjoy.
